Strategy & Execution Analyst – (Hybrid Work Model)

About the Role:

Imagine being directly involved with taking our mission of closing the middle American Insurance protection gap and bringing it to life. This role is directly responsible for taking the company strategy and turning it into reality by using your people skills to manage our Strategic Framework and coordinating with key individuals across the organization. Your analytical skills will be needed to support successful implementation of our critical strategic initiatives. You will also work directly with the Regional Market Executive to translate our strategy into material which will be used to communicate to various audiences including senior level executives. You will act as a liaison between the Global and Regional teams to provide updates and clarity on progress of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Strategic Framework by facilitating the annual planning session and quarterly refreshes with key stakeholders and Management team.
  • Support the design, execution and communication of key strategic initiatives on both the Global and Regional level ensuring there are well-defined objectives and measurable outcomes/key results
  • Support program updates, reporting of task and achievements, coordination of stakeholders, preparation of meeting content, meeting facilitation and meeting outcomes capture.
  • Develop and maintain key presentations and business reviews in partnership with the Regional Market Executive including the Americas Strategy Overview and Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
  • Support operations excellence initiatives, including business process mapping, requirements analysis and review and operations efficiency enhancements (as prioritized under strategic initiatives)
  • Under direction of management, define future state of business processes and formulate a recommended solution with venders, peers and stakeholders
  • Work actively with program managers, delivery managers, value stream leads and product owners as needed for portfolio management activities
  • Conduct strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis including competitive intelligence analysis

You enjoy creating visuals to communicate concepts for a variety of audiences, from senior management to individuals working on the front line. Your people and organizational skills allow you to collaborate with all parts of the organization to create realistic plans to achieve our strategy. You enjoy coming up with creative solutions to problems by using your analytical skills while always considering the compliance and risk viewpoint.

Essentials:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint (incl. storytelling and adjusting messages to the audience) skills
  • Strong fundamental understanding of primary insurance (P&C or L&H), including know-how across the value chain
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with an ability to quickly evaluate ideas both qualitatively and quantitatively and translate into action plans
  • Clear and effective communication with senior business leaders and project teams
  • Strong emotional intelligence to deal with sensitivity of information & seniority of audience

Nice to Haves:

  • experience in a Strategy/Finance function
  • Business process mapping skills (Visio, Mural, or other).
  • Agile delivery knowledge and experience, or interest to learn and understand agile delivery concepts, methods and artefacts.

For New York City the estimated base salary range for this position is $96,000 to $144,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
