About the role
The Strategy & Planning Lead will partner with functional leaders to provide strategic, programmatic, and analytical support. We’re looking for someone to facilitate strategy development and dive deep into the details. Working across different functions and geographies will give you considerable visibility of business operations and opportunities to drive meaningful outcomes. Fostering trust in the communities we serve around the globe is essential to our success and is the key driver in all we do.
What You’ll Do
– Establish and own internal communications strategy within the organization and across cross-functional stakeholders.
– Organize and run key meetings within the organization, including all hands, leadership offsites, etc.
– Manage budget forecasting and execution of contracts/purchase order initiation to support team investment strategy working closely with business operations and strategic finance partners.
– Drive and own adoption and execution of OKRs across the leadership team.
– Find opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing organizational systems and processes to support growth and cross-functional collaboration, focusing on agility.
Basic Qualifications
– Minimum eight (8) of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or other strategic roles globally OR Minimum 7+ years and +1 year Uber internal.

– The ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done.
– Superior analytical skills, innovative thinking, and a desire to take the initiative and think two steps ahead.
– Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with both business leaders and cross-functional partners, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner across functions to build consensus.
– Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year – $164,000 per year.
