Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Strategy Senior Analyst II – IT.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coordinating and supporting efforts to meet NYULH Information Technologys vision of a truly digital, world-class, fully integrated academic medical center. A successful candidate will be a natural self-starter and be able to help lead and deliver our strategic initiatives. This position reports to the Associate Director of Strategy and Planning.

    • Lead the planning and shaping of IT and digital strategies as well as the related change management and communication efforts across the department and system
    • Lead in requirement gathering, current state assessment and future state design to translate concepts into strategy and actionable plans
    • Operate effectively in ambiguity and think strategically
    • Conduct business analysis and generate business case/ROI based on research and modeling
    • Track and monitor strategic initiatives and progress against goals, and provide routine status updates
    • Synthesize and capture data and information gathered from meetings and workshops to formulate hypotheses and next steps in a consistent and effective manner
    • Lead the coordination, planning, and execution of workshops and stakeholder management across the strategic portfolios
    • Self-starter with enthusiastic work ethic and attention to detail; Effective, dynamic personality, persuasive speaker, and collaborative spirit
    • Mentor and lead strategy analysts
    • Where applicable, analyze data to develop and enable data-driven decision making

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Typically requires 7 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent

Required Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in one-on-one and group settings. A customer-oriented mentality, with the ability to respond gracefully to change. Superior time management and project management skills, including the ability to plan and execute commitments according to a defined schedule. Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams, with all levels, including senior executives. A passion for thinking outside the box to drive transformational and innovative results.
Proficiency in the following technologies: Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint
Preferred Experience: Experience applying technology in a business setting; experience partnering with both technical and business stakeholders, experience in Healthcare, Non-Profit, or Academic Institution; experience in design thinking and business analyst role; or analytical background including prior experience building and maintaining dashboards

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,065.99 – $126,800.14 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
