Sr. Planner Shopper Marketing – Amazon, PET

OVERVIEW

Our Omnichannel Shopper Marketing team is looking for a new Sr. Planner to be part of the planning and execution on our Mass Channel team responsible for Amazon and Walmart. The primary focus for this role will be to support Amazon which is a critical partner in driving the growth for Blue Buffalo and will allow you to gain valuable experience working in a dynamic and ever evolving space.
In this position you will work on large and advanced campaigns that leverage sophisticated capabilities, targeting, and tactics. You will be accountable for planning and executing full funnel shopper marketing programs that leverage full 360 surround inclusive of digital media, video, in-store, events, PR/influencer, and more. You will be part of our core cross-functional team working closely with sales, marketing, and external agencies.
We are looking for a candidate who is energized and passionate about leveraging Pet Parent insights and turning them into effective marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate for this position has strengths in campaign planning, project and agency management, attention to detail, and collaboration.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for all marketing aspects supporting the BLUE Sales Team to help achieve channel objectives:
• Participate in strategy and planning sessions to set objectives and goals
• Collaborate on campaign briefings and kick-offs
• Own campaign execution by leading internal/external partners to bring ideas and plans to life across tactics including digital media, video, paid search, and more
• Directly manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time launch dates
• Monitor performance and leverage insights to optimize campaigns in real-time to improve effectiveness
• Accurately own the set-up and ongoing management of shopper marketing budgets
• Assist in creation of external/customer facing presentations for sell-in, campaign presentations, planning meetings
• Identify best practices and elevate synergies as part of the Mass Channel shopper team
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS REQUESTED:
• Some travel will be required to attend customer meetings, planning meetings, etc. (about 10%)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in business administration/marketing or related field required
• 2 years’ experience in a marketing role (could be brand, agency, or shopper)
• Shopper marketing, eCommerce, or digital background
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of Sales and Marketing principles
• Proficient in Excel and Power point
• Outstanding organization and project management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS
• Marketing experience with Amazon
• Strong presentation skills and experience selling to customers
• Understanding of marketing measurement levers and approaches
• Understanding of ecommerce and how brands win in that space
• Pet enthusiast.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $77100.00 – $128700.00 / Annually.
