Position Type:Position Type:Full-time,37.5-hour workweek, primarily Monday through Friday, daylight. However, the schedule is designed to meet program needs.
What to Expect: Devereux/TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our SAP Liaisonroleinthe Pittsburgh area.In our Student Assistance and Drug and Alcohol Prevention programs, we provide valuable and dynamic resources to decrease the risk of mental health and substance abuse issues within schools and community.As aSAPLiaison, you will work in the schools and the communities within Allegheny County to provide education, screening, and referrals to decrease the risk of mental health and substance abuse issues.The SAP Liaisonposition is designed to:
- Provideservices and follows guidelines in accordance with Letters of Agreement between TCV and school district representatives.
- Consultwith the SAP Core Team and offerongoing feedback to team members and appropriate school staff.
- Conductprescreening interviews utilizing the CANS within 1 week of receiving signed parental consent at assigned schools as well as when needed in other buildings to meet student and family needs.
- Contactthe family within 1 business day of screening and recognizefamily choice when initiating referrals/linkages to appropriate mental health, drug & alcohol, educational, or other community services.
- Facilitate/co-facilitategroups within the schools as well as in the community as needed utilizing evidence based curriculums.
- Assistand coordinatecrisis intervention/post-intervention services.
- Participatein after school programs within any of TCV’s designated school districts.
- WorkTCV’s yearly prevention summer camp and takeon a leadership role in planning with the manager of SAP/Prevention.
- Accurately enterdata into required reporting systems and completeall necessary reports within established timeframes.
- Developstrong working relationships with schools through respectful communication and accountability.
- Provideexcellent customer service including punctual and consistent attendance at school meetings and events and prompt responses to emails and phone calls.
- Maintainongoing collaboration with other human services providers with appropriate consent.
- Meetproductivity standards and monitorstaff productivity.
- Serves as an agency crisis management trainer and conductother program specific trainings as needed.
- Coordinatedevelopment, dissemination, collection and review of school feedback surveys.
- Supportthe Program Manager with developing and maintaining a schedule of SAP Core Team meetings within all buildings served.

*Prospective employees hired for a full-time time position will receive a $2,500sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third of the bonus after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second thirdof the bonuswill be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a “satisfactory” rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.

- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, drug and alcohol addiction or education AND 2 years or more experience in the behavioral health field.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Current valid PA Class I driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle required.
- Act 33 and 34 clearances, Department of Education Fingerprints and Department of Public Welfare Fingerprints both required.
- TCV/Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
