Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the Construction Technology department.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist faculty in the Cabinetry Lab.
- Willingness to learn and assist faculty with a wide variety of assignments and projects.
- Heavy lifting to be expected, filming of department info sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a current UVU student in the CAW Major
- Have a current Drivers License
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. plus.
- Able to work an evening shift. Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 pm-8:30 pm. The schedule can be flexible. Some evenings may be required.
- Physical ability to perform manual work
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Basic construction lab procedures.
- Reliable & dependable, quick learner, self-motivated, capable of completing tasks with minimal to no supervision, willing to follow instructions from faculty, capable of lifting heavy objects.
