Job Description:
UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level Student Instructional Support Assistant to join Academic Technology, a unit within UFIT.
UFIT’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT) is a part of Academic Technology. We empower customers with knowledge, skills, and technologies to successfully meet their teaching and learning needs. The CITT is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic applicant to fill the position of Student Instructional Support Assistant.
The Student Instructional Support Assistant provides significant support to the instructional design and educational technology team. The student assistant will be responsible for customer service and work unit support.
Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
- Working with instructional designers to enter content into the learning management system
- Providing high-quality customer service including, strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Utilizing best practices in creating accessible content

Expected Salary:
$14.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
