Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking a student help run the UX Research Lab conducting studies and tests within courses located in CS 409. Additionally, the candidate will work with the Canvas to help grade coursework.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Arrange and help with lab and field work.
- Supervise and train students in the lab and in the field work with instrument/devices in the lab.
- Mentor Eye-tracking tests.
- Conduct and analysis usability tests.
- Use Figma to create prototypes.
- Create eye-tracking tests within the Imotion Core Software.
- Grade assignments for DWDD 2400, Practicum, and Capstone courses.
- Grade coursework in canvas.
- Student will work 5-10 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Candidates should feel comfortable working in lab settings.
- The candidate should demonstrate good organization and communication skills and is able to take initiatives to solve problems and keep track of tasks in the lab.
- Should be able to lift to 50 lbs.
