Description
Under general supervision, the Substance Abuse Technican will provide direct supervision for substance abuse treatment and case management support to women who are at high-risk for HIV and Hepatitis C, and substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. The Substance Technician will administer the selected evidence based curriculum and assist in the continuum of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college plus one (1) year full-time experience providing substance abuse treatment services. A fingerprint clearance card is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- State or national certification or licensing preferred (this is not required)
- Spanish speaking with experience working with the bilingual community (Spanish/English).

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record.
