Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and for our suites it takes a whole team including you. As a Suite Runner you will ensure that our suites are well stocked both before and during games. You and your teammates will deliver on our mission to always put the guest first and to be the nation’s leading minor league sports organization, providing a clean, safe, fun, and family-friendly venue that allows fans and players alike to enjoy America’s favorite pastime!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Smile, greet and interact with guests who visit the ballpark.
- Deliver food and beverages to suites as assigned, ensuring all items that are scheduled for a suite are delivered in a timely manner.
- Assist with food preparation and/or assembly before delivery to assigned suites.
- Follow all department policies and procedures for preparing and handling food in a safe manner.
- Work with Suite Attendants and Cooks to ensure each suite has been provided requested items.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid ServSafe certification.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain professional under pressure.
- Proven ability to work with high attention to detail, preferably in a kitchen or catering setting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule covering games and events. Evenings, weekends, and some holidays will be required to ensure service expectations are being met.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.
- Prior experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to push, pull, and carry items from one location to another for long periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Compensation: $15.50/hour
