Position Title
Summer Intern Child Care Associate
Job Description
This position is a term position lasting no more than 10 weeks. Hours are 30+ hours a week.
This person will be responsible for operating a developmentally appropriate early childhood education classroom in cooperation with Associates and Lead Associates. Assist in the development and implementation of learning experiences for individual and groups of children within a specified age range.

Required Qualifications
- Must be a student in an education academy at your local high school or community college.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
- Essentials Childcare Preservice Series, CPR & Fisrt Aid
- Must have a letter of recommendation from your high school or college professor in order to apply.

Physical Demands
Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require lifting average-weight objects up to 60 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, organizational skills, reasoning/analysis, and high degree of interpersonal and communication skills is required.
