Job Description
Scaled Agile, Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master (Team Coach) Intern who will support an Agile Release Train (ART) as a part of the overall SAI Scrum Master community. In this position, you will gain visibility into the real-world aspects of running several portions of the business by leveraging tried and true principles and practices from the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You get hands-on experience in guiding an agile delivery team to deliver business value with speed and quality.
Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements:
- Entering the final two years of four-year degree program or recently completed
- Pursuing a degree related to product development (Business/Technology), preferred
Logistical Requirements:
- Ability to work in the Mountain Time Zone
- Have a working laptop/computer with camera accessibility
- Have a reliable internet connection
- A working environment suitable for virtual meetings
Your responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
- Facilitate agile delivery team ceremonies such as Team Sync, Iteration Planning, Demos, and Reviews
- Work closely with fellow scrum masters and the release train engineer to conduct ART events such as Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and PI Planning
- Partner with the Product Owner and team to identify key business objectives that will be achieved on a quarterly basis and guide the execution
- Additional responsibilities may also be assigned

Work Location:
The location of this position is flexible, but must be available to work in the Mountain Time Zone. We proudly support a collaborative remote environment for our globally distributed teammates, while also using our Boulder office as a resource. Locally based interns may have an opportunity to work occasionally onsite.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Part-Time (up to 20 hrs/week) or Full-Time (up to 40 hrs/week)
- Anticipated start date of May 30, 2023 (flexible)
- Anticipated end date of August 11, 2023 (flexible)
- This internship has the opportunity to be extended past the initial 10 weeks
Compensation:
Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The target pay for this internship is $20/hr.
