Job Description
Overview of the position
Scaled Agile, Inc. is seeking a UX Design Intern to apply what they have been learning to real-world product features. In this position you will participate in the following:
- Pair up with other UX staff to research and design real-world projects using design thinking and user-centered design methodologies
- You’ll learn more about using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other design applications
- Participate in peer reviews to both give and receive design feedback.
- Work on the creation, evolution, and documentation of design system components
- Practice the art of user-centered design through the development of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Take part in user research and synthesis
- Manage project plans from ideation to delivery
Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements:
- Entering the final two years of four-year degree program or recently completed
- Pursuing a career in UX Design
- Knowledge of Figma application and a strong desire to grow classroom learned UX Design skills
Logistical Requirements:
- Ability to work in the Mountain Time Zone
- Have a working laptop/computer with camera accessibility
- Have a reliable internet connection
- A working environment suitable for virtual meetings
Your responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
- Participate in agile delivery team ceremonies such as Team Sync, Iteration Planning, Demos, and Reviews
- Work closely with fellow UX designers
- Partner with the Product Owner and team to identify key business objectives that will be achieved on a quarterly basis
- Additional responsibilities may also be assigned

Additional Information
Work Location:
The location of this position is flexible, but must be available to work in the Mountain Time Zone. We proudly support a collaborative remote environment for our globally distributed teammates, while also using our Boulder office as a resource. Locally based interns may have an opportunity to work occasionally onsite.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Full-Time (up to 40 hrs/week)
- Anticipated start date of May 30, 2023 (flexible)
- Anticipated end date of August 11, 2023 (flexible)
Compensation:
Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The target pay for this internship is $20/hr.
