Pay Rate: $15.19 per hour
Timeframe: June 26 through July 31, 2023.

Job Description
The Augsburg University MFA program will hire an undergraduate or graduate student to assist MFA faculty with coordination of the program’s summer intensive residency. Other tasks and responsibilities may include:
- assisting visiting writers, MFA candidates, and panel participants with residency- related issues
- coordinating streaming and recording of MFA events via Zoom
- moderating online chat forums for MFA events
- promoting MFA residency online via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or YouTube
- assisting graduating students and MFA faculty with readings and presentations
- assisting visiting writers and panel participants, as needed, with the processing of paperwork to HR and other tasks
Conditions of employment include:
- intermittent work, which can be completed remotely at a flexible time, and may be requested between June 26 and July 31.
- Student should be available and on-call July 22-29, when the residency takes place at the Hyatt-Bloomington.
Qualifications
We are looking for a tech-savvy student who has experience with social media platforms, particularly for the streaming and recording of events.
Students must be able to transport themselves to/from the Hyatt Regency in Bloomington during the week of July 22-29.
