Summer English as a Second Language Instructor
Instructor must differentiate to instruct a multi- level English as a Second Language class, while promoting English skills that permit increased self-reliance in speaking the language. Instruct students with this base knowledge to increase fluency in speaking, reading, and writing. In addition, cover language structure, grammar, and punctuation. Must have current experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults in a multi-level group atmosphere. Must have completed training in Adult Education College and Career Readiness Standards level 100 in Language Arts and the English Language Proficiency Standards. Must be a current certified CT educator with Adult Education Endorsement #088. Experience teaching, including summer interim session, preferred.
Mondays through Fridays, July 17-August 1, 2023
9am-12pm, Plainville High School

$33.95/hour
