Summary
The Supervisor will provide support to the Auto Accounts Manager and Vehicle Business Development H.O.D. in responding to customer RFPs/RFQs, evaluating potential new business opportunities, participating in actions to improve Glovis profitability and handling requests for new services from existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Rate and Pricing Activities for Current and New Clients
- Prepare pricing tools to aid in effective pricing models for new and existing Customers/Business
- Identify opportunities to optimize revenue and profitability through pricing strategies and studies
- Regularly review revenue versus contractual forecasts to ensure GLOVIS’ profitability
- Work with management and colleagues to create accurate cost models for all items involved in a proposed service or new customer operation
- Prepare and lead studies for special projects, utilizing various data sources including systems and other team inputs
- Customer Contract Management and Planning
- Support in annual Customer rate increases and rate adjustments
- Support executive team with the handling and organization of Customer contracts and financial impact of negotiations
- Coordinate volume and revenue forecasts for internal use
- Coordinate with all departments for annual business plans
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, approval documents (red folders) and work with Manager/HOD to present these ideas internally and externally
- Other duties as assigned
- Collaborate with and provide support to all internal teams on day-to-day tasks as well as special projects
- Review and manage the workload of the Auto Account team analysts, ensuring cross-training and smooth workflow to meet deadlines
Compensation Range
$72,000- $85,000 annually

Qualifications
Skills
- Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management Required
- Must possess high organizational skills and attention to detail Required
- Must be able to work independently and at the direction of the Manager and/or National Manager/HOD Required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills Preferred
- SAP experience preferred but not required
- Ability to logically and systematically solve complex problems that involve competing priorities Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Supervisory Experience Preferred
- 5-8years OR equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Planning and/or Financial Analysis Required
Physical Requirements
