Piper Companies is looking for a junior to mid-level Business Analyst for a Healthcare IT Organization for a Contract-to-hire, Hybrid opportunity in Columbia, MD.
Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
• Develop business knowledge of Insights data and workflows, understanding relationships between data sets
• Work with large data sets to create visualizations that show a clear picture and understanding of what the data means to different stakeholders and subject matter experts from different backgrounds (clinical, business, technical, research)
Qualifications for the Business Analyst:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Similar role
• Experience with Healthcare IT or Public Health records and data
• Experience working in Azure Data Lakes, Azure Data Factory, Spark, and/or Databricks is preferred
• Experience working with, manipulating, and automating large data sets in Excel, Jira, and SQL
• Able to create meaningful dashboards in excel that makes sense of the data
• Ability to understand complex business use cases and translate requirements into detailed specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organization skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Agile Methodologies – Familiar
• Experience with QA and testing processes
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Compensation for the Business Analyst:
• Full time salary conversion to $75,000 – $85,000
• Hybrid Schedule: 1 Day per week in office
