Job Description:
Supervises the staff and activities to ensure the operation, control, service, construction, and maintenance of the Electrical systems throughout the facility, ensuring all jobs are preformed to department standards are in compliance with all local and federal authorities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the activities of assigned Electrical Maintenance team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.
- Supervises and coordinates to complete annual Maintenance services on all the utility owned and operated equipment on the facility; works to design future Infrastructure to support the facility campus.
- Supervises and coordinates the construction designs with outside architects and design engineers to assure new systems are fully functional and that these systems serve the needs of the facility, and that these systems must integrate with our existing systems and assure we are fully compliant with code and the needs of the facility. Performs senior functions relating to the electrical shop for various assignments throughout the facility; possesses strong working knowledge of the electrical staffs strengthens and capabilities.
- Trains the Lead electrician and staff to his level of technical expertise on all the diverse equipment on site; works with the AD to complete employee evaluations.
- Supervises and coordinates the Fire Alarm systems on campus; works with design and construction teams to modify the systems during new construction planning.
- Develops ongoing maintenance strategies and modifications to maintain a fully compliant system; coordinates change management for all modifications to the systems.
- Supervises and coordinates with the construction team and other engineering shops on any new construction and service work on the facility are completed in the safest manner.
- Files projects with the Department of Buildings and/or Fire Marshalls Office, ensuring code compliance requirements are met.

Job Experience & Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
- NYC Masters Electrical License, preferred
