Primary Function
Under general direction, oversees the activities, projects and personnel engaged in electrical system operations related to the administration of system operations compliance training and NERC regulatory compliance programs; assists energy department with the development and implementation of policies, objectives and development of standards for energy regulatory compliance related to electrical system operations; develops, maintains training and compliance programs as required by NERC standards and as required by district policies and procedures. Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business or public administration, or related field and five years of directly related electric system operations compliance with FERC, NERC and WECC work experience including developing and implementing system operations training and energy compliance programs.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at a ratio of two years experience for one year of education in directly related electric system operations compliance with FERC, NERC and WECC work experience including developing and implementing system operations training and energy compliance programs.
Licensing & Certification Requirements
A valid driver’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from the official DMV website must accompany the job application (no third-party records accepted).
