Supervisor II/Supervisor Senior
At the Ball Aerospace Manufacturing Center (AMC) location in Westminster, CO, we develop and manufacture state of the art tactical technologies including low profile antennas, electro-optical components, and phased arrays. Technological developments are driving rapid expansion of our manufacturing capabilities to support customer demands. You will get to work with state-of-the-art military, space, and tactical equipment. The role is hands-on, technically challenging, and allows you to contribute to impactful projects with exciting missions. You’ll work alongside highly skilled people in the manufacturing shops including planners, engineers, and technicians where there is space to learn and grow. The manufacturing shops are shared processing centers encompassing adhesive cutting, chemical etching, printed circuit fabrication, machining, composite bonding, painting, and environmental test.
What You’ll Do:
- Direct of the work of 10+ employees across two shifts in the AMC Etch service centers comprising Tetra Etch, Metal Finish, and Printed Circuit Fabrication.
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise in chemical etching with an emphasize on printed circuit fabrication.
- Ensure tasks are completed according to departmental requirements and schedules.
- Ensure employees are properly trained and receive the supervision and direction needed to accomplish their work assignments in an efficient and cost-effective manner while observing all applicable work rules, safety rules, department directives, and company policies.
- Conceive, develop, and implement solutions that improve our value proposition to our customers.
- Ensure that all business is conducted using the highest standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives.
- Be accountable, drive accountability within the organization, and put problems first with a sense of urgency.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need:
- Supervisor II – BS/BA in a related field plus 4 or more years related experience
- Supervisor Senior – BS/BA in a related field plus 8 or more years related experience
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Ability to maintain excellent rapport with internal and external customers.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR SUPERVISOR II: $75,000 – $102,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
- HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR SUPERVISOR SENIOR: $91,500 – $124,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
