Position Title: Supervisor Network Construction (M1)

Role
Responsible for the management of all assigned team(s) and projects in relation to RF Engineering, Construction, Financial, Data and Asset Management. This position has a dedicated focus including but not limited to reporting needs, asset data organization, vendor management, financial process compliance including bid management and service/material procurement. Key stakeholders to support include the Manager(s) of ROW/Venue Engineering and Venue Construction teams within the District and drive proactive data and awareness of performance related to budgets, project timelines, opportunities to create both time and financial efficiencies and monitor not only meeting critical KPIs but exceeding them while being cognizant of fostering the vision and values of Crown Castle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders and managers to determine and address data and reporting needs for various company projects.
- Support Crown Castle cross-functional teams to meet corporate objectives and improve the quality of processes, deliverables and the end-to-end customer experience.
- Provide critical reporting and data to support assigned area of responsibility within the district including communication on milestones, on-time delivery, budget, asset management and financial compliance
- Provide support to the Manager of RF Engineering and Network Venue Construction to monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of deliverables and supporting workflows to measure operational performance,
- Complete vendor evaluations, bid and selection processes.
- Support the management of external vendors necessary for timely completion and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Crown Castle construction standards, processes, and procedures.
- Identify and assess areas of opportunity, resolve problems, proactively recommend solutions for issues and strategic plans, improve production, process efficiencies and performance
- Forecast requirements, complete audits, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
- Learn and grow in knowledge of current trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, technology in use, safety requirements, legal issues, and best practices with potential impact on the operational business processes
- Maintain quality service by understanding and enforcing organization standards
- Support the training for team members including Network Construction Managers, Operation Coordinators and Associate RF Engineers
Education/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license required
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Three (3) to five (5) or more years construction experience, at least three (3) or more years direct telecommunications experience or equivalent work experience required. At least two (2) or more years of supervisory contractor construction experience required, three (3) to five (5) or more years preferred.
Recommended Experience
- 1+ year of experience performing (or equivalent work experience):
- Direct supervision/management of employees
- Fiber engineering design, splicing and/or construction implementation experience
- Experience with optical test equipment including OTDR, PMD, Optical Spectrum Analyzer
- Working knowledge of network construction standards (aerial and underground)

- Familiarity with Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) installation standards and practices
- Position needs to be able to operate in a fast-paced customer focused environment handling multiple priorities at a time, delivering quality service to diverse user groups and customers
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment
- Position must be available for emergency support and a Rotating On-Call schedule if defined

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
For New York City, Colorado, California and Washington residents -the hiring range offered for this position is $95,520 – $120,000 annually. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% of annual salary and restricted stock. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
