Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION – This position is will supervise staff who perform revenue, credit card and testing functions related to daily Universal Studios Hollywood theme park and CityWalk Operations, Revenue Accounting, Sales Audit, and Finance/IT projects.Supervise, post and troubleshoot daily revenue accounting operations including Sales Audit function. Ensure accuracy of revenue posted to SAP financials for all theme park and CityWalk revenue streams including ticketing, food, retail, parking, and other in-park sales.
- Monitor daily management reporting in partnership with the USH Data Warehouse team, trouble-shoot issues to ensure accurate data is sent to senior leadership each day.
- Review, test and facilitate new system implementations, system changes and updates, with a focus on financial impacts to key stakeholders and compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
- Build relationships with & interact with UDX finance in support of A/R and Payments functions.
- Work closely with Loss Prevention on fraud and payment risk processes.
- Support Controllership close activities as needed.
- Facilitate optimization of current processes to further efficiencies and foster a forward progress culture
- Other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience within Accounting, Theme Parks, Financial Systems, or similar experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Previous financial system implementation, theme park food or retail experience a strong plus
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Be a positive change agent for improvements to current processes.
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
