Summary

The Supervisor, Port Operations supports all functions of the Port Operations department, with an emphasis on analysis of all port processor communications, including invoicing, vehicle processing reports, and analytical and administrative support for the department. This position will guide, train, and assist with the professional development of subordinate staff.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of Port Processor Communications
    • Support leadership in tracking and maintaining rates, conducting time studies, and completing invoicing
    • Audit and reconcile backup data to ensure billing accuracy and processing efficiency
    • Collaborate with supervisor/management on current issues and advise on remedies
    • Track ITMS & manual billing accuracy for quarterly Club Elite KPI scoring
    • Prepare departmental metrics results for presentation in required meetings
    • Manage Payable Contract Updates
    • Manage and update Work Order Codes
    • Manage and update New Model Mapping
    • Manage and update Quarterly Fuel Figures/Data
    • Attend ad-hoc meetings in support of senior leadership as needed
  • Analytical and Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support for management with high level projects, including the preparation of background/summary documentation
    • Assist supervisor/management with research and analysis for Executive reporting
    • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents in support of Port Operations goals
    • Develop reporting tools to track Operational efficiencies/deficiencies
    • Status reports – Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly
    • Compile projection reports
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Compensation Range

$72,000- $80,000 annually

Qualifications

Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), web navigation, file management, and general PC system required
  • Must be knowledgeable of fundamental database management techniques and operational capabilities
  • Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Must possess great communication, planning, organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be knowledgeable of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/ G.E.D. Required
  • 2-4 Years of Experience in Business Administration
  • Experience in Vehicle Processing and/or Logistics Preferred
