About the Job

The Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) internship will give talented college students the opportunity to utilize the information they have learned in the classroom and apply them in the workforce. Interns will gain working knowledge within Customer Service and Logistics through analytic reporting of business trends, cost impacts and efficiency performance, including developing presentations to key stakeholders and leaders across North America. During this 1 year program interns will have an opportunity to partner with functional teams such as customer engagement, transportation, customer efficiencies, and warehouse operations.

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Duration: 1 year based on year of school and/or performance

Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with business-based projects 30%
  • Generating and maintaining frequently used reports and offering insights 40%
  • Gain knowledge, awareness and understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry 20%
  • Visiting Distribution Center, State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility, and a Transportation Company 10%

Requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA; working toward Supply Chain, Business, Business Analytics, Logistics or Engineering Undergraduate Degree, Management Information Systems/Information Systems
  • Ideal candidate would be in the 1st semester of junior year, which is aligned with the duration of the program.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Advanced Microsoft Excel andPowerPoint is required with Tableau, and Google Data Studio preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedule demands
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week during school, full time during summer months

Salary Range $23 – $25.50 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
