Job Summary:
Supplier Performance Manager is in charge to ensure the monitoring & development of a set of suppliers and support supply chain activities to satisfy customer deliveries.
Summary of Duties:
1. Purchasing strategy definition & implementation support
• Support Purchasing Team on preparing Risk analysis summary prior to Supplier Selection Committee (SSC)
• Participate in Supplier Selection Committee and be the voice of supplier performance to ensure
2. Risk Mitigation
• Evaluate the level of supplier risk, define and deploy the associated monitoring plans, including to support the ramp-up / down phases and the introduction of new products / dual source implementation
• Follow its deployment and measure its effectiveness
• Ensure Rate Readiness Assessment (RRA) process deployment at supplier to validate the ability to achieve future aircraft rate and identify production bottlenecks several years in advance. Drive capacity adjustment (investment, process qualification, recruitment) at supplier
3. Crisis Management
• Lead the escalation process; in case of top level escalation directly pilot activities D4 to D8 of the 8D
• Establish and manage crisis cell to address supplier’s performance drop
• Establish with internal stakeholders crisis resolution action plan and follow action plan on a daily basis
4. Supplier performance continuous improvement
• Perform supplier maturity assessment
• Support supplier maturity upgrading plans and promote best practices (MRPII, QRQC, 8D, AMDEC, SPC, etc.); support suppliers in the implementation of progress plans in line with Safran Cabin objectives and customer requirements
5. Supplier Quality Management
• Manage and develop the quality standard
• Review Quality events trends and Quality monitoring audits performed to assess Quality Risks and ensure improvement plans are in place
• Manage supplier approvals, ensure that quality requirements are taken into account by suppliers & internal SAFRAN Cabin Teams
6. Suppliers Performance measurement and analysis
• Schedule regular and executive performance reviews with suppliers.
• Monitor their progress towards the targets.
• Obtain suppliers management commitment of adequate resources to support performance recovery.
• Facilitate improvements internally and at suppliers to foster Supplier Performance with Safran Cabin.
• Analyze the logistics and quality performance of suppliers and quantifies the quality (NQC) and logistics (LD) compensation (scorecard) based on the measurements carried out by the supplier and SQF (Supplier Quality Flow)
7. Perform all other duties as assigned

Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 7+ year’s proven experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing or Supplier quality Production
Knowledge & Skills:
Computer:
• Excel: ability to use complex formulas, pivot tables
• PowerPoint. can make clear and concise presentation
Technical Skill:
• Knowledge of production planning and supply chain principles
• Proficiency in the use of quality tools (8D, Lean-6 Sigma)
Soft Skill:
• Communication
• Ability to work closely with various sections (Finance, HR, Sales Admin, Operations) to provide operational analysis and planning support
• Result Driven: ability to focus on target and not get disturbed by high flow of information and multiple stakeholders
Others:
• Flexibility to manage business trips and communicate with oversea sites in different time zones
