Boeing is seeking a Supply Chain First Line Leader for our BGS Repair Management Services- Government Vertical Lift team. The Supply Chain First Line Leader will be responsible for managing a team of repair order managers of vertical lift aircraft repairs. This includes working with the Supply Chain functional team members to induct repairs, ship to repair vendors, oversee repairs through the repair cycle at supplier sites, and returning the serviceable parts to the customers. The Repair ecosystem requires detailed record keeping by the Repair Order Managers which necessitates clear expectations regarding WIP management from the manager of the team. This role requires oversight of high-level customer expectations and commitments being made in support of both PBL and transactional repair performance. Candidate should be able to communicate high level performance to Program leaders and customers, while also managing the detailed WIP performance of Repair Order Execution team members.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for oversight and management of Government repair management services team supporting Vertical Lift Aircraft component repairs.
  • Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Average Pay Summary: $111,350 – $150,650
