Job Description
Pay Range: $105,000 to $120,000 per year
Purpose of Position:
Manage the supply planning team for the fresh chicken product line. Manage weekly and daily production planning of five different locations in three different states. Update annual capacity plans for multiple operations, provide feedback to senior leadership regarding capacity constraints, supply position, and equipment required for future growth. Collaborate with sales, marketing and production to reach the customer order fill goal of 99.5%+.
Essential Functions:
Develop and lead the supply planning team members.
Serve as primary point of contact for sales, marketing, customer service, transportation, and warehousing regarding fresh chicken product supply.
Evaluate raw material supply and equipment capacity for all new business/distribution requests.
Direct production facilities on a daily basis to ensure supply continuity and high customer order fill rates.
Quickly identify alternative production options when necessary due to labor constraints, equipment downtime etc.
Identify opportunities to improve supply planning process related to customer service, stability and cost.
Establish and maintain planning parameters for assigned product line in ERP system.
Responsible for the successful execution of all new product distribution and changes, packaging changes, line extensions, warehousing changes, production location changes etc.
Additional Functions:
Lead weekly Supply and Demand presentation to senior leadership team. Reporting on key performance indicators related to production attainment, order fill rates, order variance to forecast, excess supply etc.
Monitor and ensure the completion of both personal and team performance goals/objectives.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in business, statistics or related field.
Three – five years supply planning, production planning or related experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to direct, develop, and manage salary employees.
Three – five years of supervisory experience
Excellent communication, organization and planning skills.
Strong Customer Service values.
Ability to solve problems in a detailed manner and be decisive.
Desire to work in a fast paced environment and interact with a wide variety of employees and departments.
Have the ability to influence through indirect authority is essential.
