Support Clerk

Overview

Enterprise Holdings’ Damage Recovery Unit (DRU) is looking to add remote employees to our Support Clerks team!

When damage occurs to our company property – primarily our rental vehicles – the Damage Recovery Unit works to recover costs for those damages. In this role, you will perform general administrative and clerical duties such as receiving incoming mail as well as evaluating police reports, repair estimates and other related documents and updating claim files accordingly. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, has a strong attention to detail and a track record of success in their current role.

Schedule: Our schedules are full-time, Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 5:30pm EST.

Responsibilities

  • Enter new data and update electronic claim files from incoming correspondence
  • Perform basic office functions such as copying and faxing
  • Research incoming mail received without claim file numbers
  • Gather and evaluate police reports, repair estimates and other related documents
  • Research new addresses
  • Send paperwork to the appropriate parties
  • All received correspondence should be processed within 48 hours
  • Effectively communicates with individuals related to a claim file
  • Make appropriate internal and external contacts to obtain necessary information
  • Review all information provided to assure accuracy
  • Exhibit sound and accurate judgement
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, guidelines and state and federal laws
  • Appropriately maintain and handle confidential records, claim files and correspondence
  • Other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must live in the state of Florida
  • One year of continuous work experience is required
  • Previous customer service experience via phone or email is preferred
  • At least basic/beginner skill level in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel) is required
  • Must have a permanent residence with a defined workspace that is free of distractions
  • Must have consistent and reliable high-speed internet access
  • Must be able to work full-time
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be willing to accept $14.26/hour for this position
  • Heavy phone experience preferred
