Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Planner/Support Leader organization in Tulsa, OK. Our Tulsa factory is the home of Whirlpool’s US freestanding and slide-in range production. This role is an onsite position.
2nd shift Monday to Friday position. $34.25 per hour plus $1.25 shift differential

Your responsibilities will include
Maintenance Planner Qualifications
Understanding of 24 to 480 voltages.
knowledge of mechanical parts. (chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings, etc.)
knowledge of electrical parts. (fuses, drives, conduit, wire sizes, etc.
Able to lift 35 pounds
Able to stand, sit, stoop, squat or kneel for extended periods of time
Maintenance Planner Duties
Support day to day maintenance operations as needed.
Learn, Teach, Support and help Implement all WCM activities
Work with engineering and craftsmen to determine and prioritize repairs.
Scope the full extent of work needed to conduct the maintenance repair.
Purchase all necessary parts, equipment and services to perform the maintenance work.
Write all applicable standard maintenance work procedures.
Discuss plans/scheduling with craftsmen.
Plan with production to have access to equipment.
Follow up to verify that the work was performed correctly.
Obtain bids from contractors and negotiate for the best price.
Manage work orders using SAP.
Update equipment and preventive maintenance in SAP
Assist in Preventive Maintenance schedule writing
able to successfully complete all Safety training
Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years’ Electrical/Mechanical experience
Preferred skills and experiences
- SAP/Plant maintenance software to search for parts
- Google, Microsoft Office products and SAP
- Assist in off shift down time as needed
- Mentor to the craftsmen
