DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A Production Supervisor provides front line leadership of their assigned production lines or areas of manufacturing. Supervisor is the lead role in meeting targets for safety, quality, costs, customer service and associate satisfaction/development within the teams they lead.
- Monitors safety, quality, productivity, and process improvement on a shift for their specific lines
- Assigns Associates to a position and ensures associates are trained on Safety, Quality, and Productivity
- Responsible for the overall integrity of work produced on their shift, meeting production schedule needs
- Works with other supervisors to rotate Associates as necessary to meet production needs
- Develops, recommends, and implements ideas to improve production performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement, including identifying and correcting bottle necks in the operation
- Leads all shift communication meetings and presents shift metrics to leadership team, as necessary
- Works with Area Manager & Human Resources to provide corrective action with Associate performance issues as well as performance reviews to provide feedback and training when necessary
- Provides development, training and coaching of associates to increase skillsets and flexibility of team
- Interviews and evaluates prospective production employees
- Track hour by hour production of assigned area(s) and develop action items to address misses
- Prepares and updates information line WIT boards, time records, safety reports, quality inspections, and other reports that are requested
- Responsible for all Safety and Quality training for assigned hourly employees
- Excellent follow through on projects and assignments
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment as a supervisor is required
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Internal candidates must have met the duties of a Team Leader
- Proficient with MS Office Product, CBB Phone Apps and HRIS Systems
- Available to arrive at work early and stay over to complete tasks, including some weekends
- Ability to work in varying internal temperatures

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $33.00 per hour to $38.00 per hour + medical, dental, and vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
