Summary/Objective
The primary role of the Systems Administrator Security Operations position is to consistently improve the company’s security posture by managing security-focused tools and applications such as endpoint security software, SIEM, vulnerability management, and other platforms that proactively defend company assets. Envision Radiology’s technology practices conform to HIPAA and HITRUST security standards. This position will drive the continuous improvement of defenses to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information system assets. Position will report to the Director of IT Operations but will take day-to-day direction from the Senior Systems Administrator.
Pay Range: $60,450 – $75,550
Essential Functions
- Identifies and remediates areas of vulnerability using defined security strategies.
- Implements, maintains, and documents systems, processes, and procedures, to actively defend against cyber threats.
- Collaborates to develop and modify written policies, procedures, and security training materials.
- Conducts regular research and analysis to identify and remediate internal and external security vulnerabilities.
- Participates in the evaluation and selection of products and services to address security.
- Participates in incident response, security audits, and test activities.
- Coordinates with third-party vendors to ensure best practices are implemented for each security application.
- Analyzes and evaluates anomalous network and system activity, reporting findings to the appropriate resources.
- Provides input and participates in security projects and initiatives with other key IT personnel.
- Trains and develops internal staff on operational tasks as appropriate.
- Provides escalation support services for Help Desk when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Five plus years of experience providing IT support in an enterprise environment.
- A working knowledge of endpoint protection platforms required.
- A working knowledge of SIEM and vulnerability management systems preferred.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
- Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Certifications in areas appropriate to the position include Security + or other security vendor-specific certifications.
