Essential Functions
- Perform tasks related to configuring infrastructure software in preparation for launch and pre/post launch operations
- Support Range System Validation
- Perform Daily/Weekly/Monthly system checks
- Perform periodic and yearly password changes
- Routine and emergency system restoral procedures
- Administrative support as it pertains to user accounts
- Create instructional aides for task responsibilities
- Provide support for testing and execution of new system hardware functions for replacement of legacy equipment
- Provide accurate system status through endpoint analysis and verification and monitor INF and C&D LAN for failures
- Create System-state and user authentication backups
- Review procedural documentation and coordinate changes or updates to documentation
- Create images for system recovery
- Direct NMTs (Network Maintenance Technicians) in performing Remove and Replace
- Perform Password Changes on multiple servers, databases and web-related systems
- Assign tasks to System Administrators such as systems swings, system boots and troubleshooting
- Provide Day of Launch management, ensuring that all checklists are complete, and systems are ready to support the operation
- Ensure systems are configured properly for daily operations
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of staff for Launch operations
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted prior to launch operations and attend planning meetings as necessary
- Act as a mentor to the team on applicable technologies and systems and provide training when necessary

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field; military technical training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years’ experience with computers, systems security, and networking.
- Five or more launch and range operations experience, preferred.
- Experience working with the following:
- Linux
- Windows Server 2000 and Active Directory.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining a computer system.
- Some Knowledge in VMWare, vSphere and vCenter.
- Cisco IOS.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Security+ certification or ability to obtain one within six months of hire date.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required

The salary range for this role is $76,970 to $120,485; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
