General Purpose
The City of Commerce City is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Engineer to join our team. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the City enterprise server/system infrastructure. This position will work closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure all systems run smoothly and efficiently. This Systems Engineer will also have the opportunity to implement new technology projects as assigned by the project manager.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range is $108,692 – $128,015 annually ($52.26 – $61.54 hourly)
We offer a hiring bonus of $4,000 to new employees hired from this recruitment. The bonus details will be discussed at the interview and/or offer.

The City of Commerce City has temporarily adopted a hybrid work environment that includes remote (telework) and in-person duties. This position is eligible to work remotely with a minimum of 1-2 days per week on-site (days are flexible). This position will also be required to report on-site within 1-hour on-call as needed. The flexibility in the assigned work schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the department and the organization.
