Join us as we take Xbox Player Experience & Platform (PEP) team to the next level. PEP is searching for a Senior Technical Program Manager who is looking for an opportunity to partner and collaborate with multiple disciplines to manage complex and high value projects and product releases as well as be a key stakeholder in evolving how Xbox releases predictably, with high quality and in a compliant manner.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our engineering teams to define Xbox Console release plans and ensure releases are completed on time to support delivery of orgnization commitments. You will leverage data to make release decisions, ensure release blocking issues are resolved in a timely manner as well as communicate release status to multiple audiences. You will have direct exposure to leadership and the benefit of working with a great team of engineers and program managers who are equally committed to delivering innovative solutions for our customers.
This role provides with you an exciting opportunity to bring your experience with project management and cross-group collaboration s skills and experience, as well as experience managing large, complex product or platform releases, with the ability to schedule and prioritize work against multiple deadlines and the ability to direct large teams with many dependencies to success. This role allows you to be methodical in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects .
Additional/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent
- 8 + years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- Experience working within Gaming industry is a plus
Product Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 – $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 – $238,600 per year.

Responsibilities:
- Define/evolve existing frameworks for project planning, execution, and release activities.
- Develops and executes comprehensive release plans, timelines and publishes release statuses and metrics.
- Manages and communicates issues and risks to manage status through resolution to ensure successful on-time and quality driven releases.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, design, and quality to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Facilitates regular shiproom meetings and own all release tracking dashboards.
- Communicates status for releases (may include train payloads, bugs, service-impacting incidents, test results, and other pertinent information related to build and release pipelines)
- Facilitate the definition and drive the completion of Release Criteria for major milestones.
- Help bridge the gap between project stakeholders and dependencies.
- Work closely with other Release Managers to recommend, align and improvement release processes and policies across the org portfolio.
- Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, key milestones, and any changes in scope.
