Boeing Intelligence and Analytics is seeking motivated and talented Mid-Level Engineers to support the Missile and Weapons Systems Engineering Organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Missiles and Weapons Systems (MWS) organization is dynamic and growing engineering team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. Connected to our customers’ missions, we deliver unique capability through our exceptional talent.
We are hiring engineers for a variety of positions in support of the GMD Systems Integration, Test, and Readiness (SITR) program. We are seeking engineers that are motivated by being part of a mission critical program, technical leaders focused on in instilling engineering discipline and rigor, and participating in the digital engineering transformation.
Typical job responsibilities may include:
Systems Engineering/Integration
- Coordinate appropriate Warfighter/End User (EU) engagements with product teams by managing a series of End User Working Forums (EUWF); ensure appropriate Warfighter/End User participation in GMD element and product-level planning meetings, e.g. new capability deployment plan, maintenance plans, transition plans, design reviews, increment reviews; ensure appropriate user involvement in all phases of product lifecycle
- Synchronize industry readiness teams with Warfighter & End Users to ensure all teams understand upcoming POIs, events, execution changes and support ops teams in providing plan to support such changes/events
- Coordinate End User and product team activities in support of the Operational Acceptance Validation process to ensure that fielded capabilities meet operational needs across all GMD sites
- Support GMD REDCON response as part of O&S team support to United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM)
- Support fielding activities at all GMD operational sights; ensure appropriate Warfighter and End User participation in all appropriate pre-fielding Project Readiness Reviews and fielding milestones
- Support GMD Element Response Team to Warfighter questions and concerns during day-to-day operations.
- Review/participate in daily status updates; help ops teams identify areas of concern, identify items that may require Warfighter/EU interface
- Coordinate Warfighter and End User RFI responses, screen captures, TIMs
- Support the GMD End User Integration Process ensuring that relevant feedback is documented between End Users and engineering/development teams
- Test and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Work Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Requirements
- Experience with complex systems development and integration.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience working in digital engineering processes and tools.
- Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation.
- Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. Earned value management, DOORs, CAMEO)
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. ( An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.
Desired Experience:
- Significant experience working with standard systems engineering processes.
- Experience working on MDA programs, especially GMD.
- Subject Matter Expertise with correlation and multi-sensor data fusion techniques.
- Experience with RF and EO/IR sensor platforms.
Required Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience)

Summary pay range: $ 130,000 – $165,000 annually
