Our leading communications Tech client is looking for an HR Data Scientist to collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities where data science can add value. We are looking for candidates with HR domain experience.
Job Duties:
- Design and develop predictive models and algorithms to enhance the recruitment and talent acquisition process, predicting the best candidates for specific roles.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improving employee performance, retention, and overall productivity.
- Utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to analyze employee feedback, sentiment, and engagement data, providing insights to enhance the work environment.
- Apply machine learning techniques to forecast attrition and employee turnover, enabling proactive measures to retain top talent.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and interactive visualizations to provide real-time insights to HR business partners and leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HR data with other business data sources, providing a holistic view of organizational performance.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimental design to measure the impact of HR initiatives and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Apply statistical analysis to identify potential biases and disparities in HR processes and propose data-driven solutions to promote fairness and diversity and inclusion.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data science and HR analytics, suggesting innovative ways to leverage emerging technologies for HR-related challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in an HR or people analytics context.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with expertise in data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with HR systems and tools, such as HRIS, ATS, and employee engagement platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and databases, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying data-driven solutions.
