PAY RANGE: TA Program Manager I – min: $49,200 – mid: $61,500

TA Program Manager II – min: $60,200 – mid: $75,300

Sr TA Program Manager – min: $76,400 – mid: $101,800

Note: This is a Hybrid position with a combination of work-from-home and in-office work.

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Talent Acquisition Program Manager will work with our Operations team, and various community partners and education institutions, to build a talent pipeline. This role will primarily focus on our craft/skilled trades roles within the Operations division.

This is a newly created role who will be responsible for:

  • Developing and program managing a talent pipeline for our craft/skilled trades workers, focusing on two key areas:
    • Ready to work in 1-3 years
    • Ready to work in 3+ years
  • Developing a technical college campus program that targets line workers for urban areas.
  • Working with internal operations leaders to understand current and future needs and building out a plan to fill those critical needs.
  • Working with area high schools to build energy industry career-awareness among their students.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners in our metro service territories (Kansas City, Topeka and Wichita).

Education and Experience Requirements:

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of related experience in recruitment, outreach and program management, and possess A strong aptitude for developing relationships to assist in candidate pipeline development is required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage a variety of internal and external stakeholders (operation leaders, community partners, school administrators, faculty and students)
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of interested parties, from high school students to executives
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities between internal stakeholders, community partners, school administrators, faculty and students.

Working Conditions:

Normal office working environment. Must have excellent work record including good attendance. Some travel may be required within the Evergy service territory.
