Objectives of this Role
• Work closely with FHU managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position
• Meet defined hiring goals and expectations
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent
• Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
• Continuously partner with FHU’s human resources team, hiring managers and senior leadership to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies
• Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent
Responsibilities
• Form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications
• Work with hiring managers to develop and release job postings on platforms, such as FHU’s internal careers page, social media, and position specific job boards
• Ensure legal compliance of job postings (e.g., Colorado pay equity)
• Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for future roles
• Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation
• Maintain FHU’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) of candidate records, including active and passive prospects and other candidate relationships
• Schedule, coordinate and, as needed, attend various college career fairs
• Provide recruiting specific reports to the HR Director and Executive Management Team
• Coordinate with internal IT, HR and Payroll departments upon acceptance of an offer of employment
• Follow up on interview process status and update records in ATS
• Work with hiring managers to ensure the recruiting process is moving and responses to candidates is timely
• Partner with other FHU HR staff to provide training to FHU hiring managers and others as needed on recruiting and interviewing best practices
• Provide coaching and guidance to more junior level HR staff as applicable
The pay for this position has a range of $26-$34 per hour. The actual offer will carefully consider a range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience
Requirements
• 2+ years’ experience in recruitment or human resources
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and internet search
• Familiarity with job boards, HRIS software & applicant tracking systems software
• Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
• Ability to travel as needed to other FHU offices and recruiting fairs/opportunities
• Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to conduct interviews, communicate with candidates, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing recruiting strategy preferred
• Recruiting experience in the Civil Engineering field highly desirable.
• Desire to grow professionally through networking and ongoing training opportunities
• Experience using Paylocity HRIS
• Experience using Workable Applicant Tracking system
• Experience with Deltek Vision accounting system
