Job Summary

Leads the operations team in developing and implementing company-wide strategies that drive UTA talent acquisition efforts. Manages staff by developing goals, monitoring progress, and evaluating performance. Also works closely with leadership teams in determining best recruiting strategies, forecasting staffing needs, customizing skill and testing requirements, and implementing high quality interviewing/selection techniques. Achieves staffing objectives by proactively engaging in day-to-day activities such as posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and supporting internal customers. Focuses on developing solid relationships with hiring managers and candidates to identify needs, research/analyze trends and external benchmarks, and develop/analyze feedback mechanisms to develop and administer selection and onboarding activities. Liaises regularly with all levels of the organization to support business fundamentals and unique needs of each area. Identifies opportunities that enhance the new employee experience through engagement and values-based hiring.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Five years in Human Resources with at least three years emphasis in operations recruitment and onboarding. HR Generalist experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of local and national employment market characteristics, successful recruiting, and identification of applicant sources. Experience recruiting a variety of positions including exempt, non-exempt, technical, etc. Experience managing, implementing, and leading projects.

Knowledge of:

  • Comprehensive employment practices, policies, and procedures

Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards HRIS and/or other related software

This job requires regular and predictable attendance.
