Talent & Entertainment Assistant-West Coast (Temporary Position)

The Talent & Entertainment Assistant will support the press relations and celebrity initiatives for Cartier North America and provide a cohesive brand image message through strategic product placements. This role will support the organization and coordination of product loans, photoshoots & fittings, and executing the processes necessary to support our initiatives in the West Coast region.

Main accountabilities/objective of the position

Key Responsibilities

PRESS
• Assist in coordinating all local photoshoots.
• Liaise with NY PR team and publication to coordinate logistics and manage request
• Pull the product and Order stock on SAP
• Act as point of contact for all pick-ups and returns
• Handle the pieces on site when needed
• Manage all PR stock which includes shipping, receiving, and keeping track of the inventory by maintaining the shipping log
• Coordinate local gifting
• Assist with logistics and treatment for LA based editors on wider PR activations and events

CELEBRITY
• Greet and manage in boutique appointments for stylists, agents, and VIP talent
• Create and track talent’s contracted store credit
• Show available jewelry options to VIPs for local industry events
• Liaise with the boutique to assist with VIP sales
• Develop and nurture key relationships with local industry contacts
• Assist with lookbooks, pulling, and tracking product for films and television shows
• Pull product for award season and local brand events and red carpets
• Work closely with the Celebrity and PR Coordinator to divide and conquer boutique and logistical tasks.
• Coordinate and track local talent gifting for birthdays and thank yous
• Update and maintain dressing recaps

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Required experience

o 1-2 years of Public Relations and/or Celebrity experience

o Exemplary skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Personal skills:

o Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment

o Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

o Willingness to work late nights and weekends
