Job Description: As an International Tax Director at PepsiCo, you will be a crucial member of our tax team, responsible for overseeing international tax compliance processes, managing a team of tax professionals, navigating complex U.S. international tax laws, and driving compliance with precision. Your expertise in international taxation will be pivotal in our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the international tax compliance processes
- Manage a team of 6 tax professionals
- Take charge of all international tax compliance processes to ensure the company complies with U.S. international tax regulations.
- Lead a team of six tax professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Utilize your deep understanding of U.S. international tax laws to create value in maintaining compliance and making informed financial decisions.
- Responsible for all U.S. international tax-related tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Diligently review all related calculations, including Earnings and Profits (E&P), Subpart F, Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII), and Foreign Tax Credit (FTC).
- Perform U.S. international tax provisions for the quarterly Effective Tax Rate (ETR) forecasts, contributing to the company’s financial planning and reporting.
- Collaborate with tax planners to prepare disclosure statements for tax return filing, maintaining our commitment to legal and ethical tax compliance.
- Work with external auditors, such as KPMG, on international tax-related issues during audits, demonstrating your expertise in navigating complex tax matters.
- Assist tax planners in various planning projects to optimize the company’s tax position while adhering to tax laws and regulations.
- Extend your expertise to assist with state and local tax filings and state tax audits, ensuring comprehensive compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Prepare thorough and well-researched responses for IRS tax audit Information Document Requests (IDRs), covering topics such as Transition Tax E&P, FDII, and GILTI.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 7 plus years of international tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation
- Profound knowledge of U.S. international tax laws and regulations.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- 3 plus years people management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- 3 plus years of project management experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Masters in Taxation preferred
- Technology skills (knowledge of CorpTax, Excel, Alteryx, PowerBI)
Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $113,300 – $226,600 based on a full-time schedule
• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% paid out Annually.
• and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period
• Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
