Job Description: As a Senior International Tax Manager at PepsiCo, you will play a critical role in our tax team, responsible for managing various aspects of U.S. international tax compliance. Your expertise in international tax laws and regulations will be essential to ensure the company’s adherence to tax requirements and optimize our tax position.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of U.S. international tax filings, including Form 5471, Form 8858, and Form 8868, ensuring their accurate and timely submission.
- Prepare detailed calculations for Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI) and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII) for tax return filing.
- Review and calculate Earnings and Profits (E&P) and Subpart F income for foreign affiliates, ensuring compliance with U.S. international tax laws.
- Perform foreign tax credit calculations and maintain the tax pool, optimizing our foreign tax credit position.
- Prepare the necessary disclosure statements under Sections 367, 351, and 368 for tax return filing.
- Contribute to the preparation of U.S. international tax provisions for the quarterly Effective Tax Rate (ETR) forecasts, assisting with the company’s financial planning and reporting.
- Collaborate with tax planners on various planning projects to enhance the company’s tax position within legal and regulatory boundaries.
- Assist with state and local tax filings and state tax audits, ensuring comprehensive compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Prepare well-researched responses for IRS tax audit Information Document Requests (IDRs), covering topics such as Transition Tax, Earnings and Profits (E&P), FDII, and GILTI.
- CorpTax Application Management: Manage and maintain the CorpTax application for international tax compliance, ensuring its optimal functionality and accuracy.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 6 plus years of international tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax laws and regulations.
- 2 plus years people management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented individual with excellent project management skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Masters in Taxation preferred
- Technology skills (knowledge of CorpTax, Excel, Alteryx, PowerBI)
Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,300 – $177,850 based on a full-time schedule
• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% paid out Annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
