Weyerhaeuser Lumber mill in Raymond, WA is hiring for entry-level mill laborer/production associate(s). This is a bargaining unit position in the International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Woodworkers Local Lodge W130.
Key Functions:
- Utility labor such as but not limited to picking up debris, sweeping, relieving production employees, banding wrapping.
- Activities involving safety, quality, and process reliability improvements.
- Actively participate in the team-based work environment.
- Multi-skill capability.
- Demonstrate a desire to achieve. Successful applicants will train for a variety of positions, including clean-up and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Willingness and ability to work all shifts and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Stable documented work history.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Ability to do demanding work (lift to fifty pounds).
- Resume is required for consideration (detailing experience, education, and work history).
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
Compensation: Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. Entry level laborers start at $24.075/hr.
