Responsibilities

  • The Manager is responsible for managing the integrated claim and leave process for assigned accounts within a specified team. This includes ensuring the team’s achievement of specific customer service levels and metrics are in line with our Mission and Value proposition.
  • A Manager must use independent thinking and discretion to review and resolve complex absence issues.
  • Priority Setting: Spends their time and the time of others on what’s important and not the trivial; can quickly sense roadblocks and focuses on the goal at hand.
  • Manage team’s overall performance according to published Quality and Compliance standards. Achieve overall quality review (NQIT and Manager/SAM reviews) within standard.
  • Provides individual and team based feedback and coaching to continuously improve and develop skills.
  • Utilize and proactively analyze various metrics reports to ensure consistent team and office performance. Identify areas of opportunity and create plans for sustained improvement.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place to achieve outcomes when challenges arise, such as staffing shortages, new business, system implementation, etc.
  • Is committed to meeting and exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers. Maintains exceptional customer relations while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Partners with Account Management, Sales, and Director of Client Solutions to including attending client visits / finalist presentations and responses to claim investigations / resolutions.
  • Communication Skills: Is able to speak and write clearly and succinctly in any situation. Is able to convey messages verbally in an assertive, logical, empathetic and understandable way

Qualifications

  • Manager-Team Leader experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED from accredited institute required.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Salary range: $55,000-$85,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt
