Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Technical Administrative Assistant to join our Water Management team. This position may report to either our Houston, TX or Dallas, TX office location.
This role sits within our global business area of Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we’re feeling the effects of climate change, rapid urbanization, and loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities:
As a Technical Administrative Assistant, you will work with Project Managers and other client team members to complete project-specific tasks, such as: tracking the progress of various ongoing projects, preparing reports, arranging meetings, monitoring schedules, reviewing project budgets, and preparing and distributing routine correspondence. Additional responsibilities may include:
- Developing and analyzing progressively more complex written reports
- Assisting with the management of small- to medium-size projects and/or programs of work, ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scopes of work by the established deadlines
- Using financial systems and established project objectives to develop project plans, schedules, and track budgets, highlighting variances to manage and control project delivery targets
- Monitoring and evaluating existing project management processes to identify opportunities and provide advice for the improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency with applications SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships
- Commercial acumen and organizational understanding
- A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to coordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects
- Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several assignments
- Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $47,300 – $65,000.
