EA Create is looking for a Technical Artist to join our team in assisting an unannounced title. EA Create is known to partner with AAA studios such as BioWare, Respawn, and Maxis, and assist on the critically acclaimed Madden and FIFA franchises. This is your opportunity to be part of a collaborative group with team members all over the world and have your work shown to millions of viewers, players, peers, and industry professionals.

You would report to a director within the Animation team and set up and maintaining production workflow. You know how to work with an artistic team; support them technically, and providing a necessary role in troubleshooting, creating new tools, and improving the efficiency of the team.

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in Fine Arts or Computer Animation.
  • 3 years professional experience.
  • Knowledge of Maya / Motion Builder.
  • Python scripting ability
  • Reliable internet service to work remotely.
  • Passionate about game development.
  • Production experience in a professional animation setting.

Role Expectations:

  • Provide pipeline support moving data and assets through our pipeline.
  • Analyze workflow on a project level; provide insight toward potential improvements.
  • Discuss and create tools within Motion Builder and Maya to enhance workflow and the end-user experience.
  • Write and share documentation for any new processes or tools.
  • Work with our Production team to determine deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Learn and work with proprietary animation run-time integration tools.
  • Work within a motion capture pipeline.
  • Be an active participant within the team.
  • Prompt attendance at all meetings and reviews.
  • Organize your work and notes to be easily understood by team members.
  • Collaborate with directors, animators, production and technical staff.

CONTRACT POSITION – 12 MONTHS

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

The hourly pay ranges represent in good faith what applicants can expect to be paid for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

° $33.5 – $61
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
° $30 – $50
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
° $30 – $61
• Jersey City, NJ:
° $35 – $60
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
° $30 – $60
