We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with a knack for enhancing the synergy between SREs, Developers, and our platform, from small to medium businesses to large enterprises.
As a Technical Product Manager (Monitoring, Incident Management & Mobile app) at Uptime.com, you will spearhead the growth and development of our monitoring and observability platform. Your primary focus will be on increasing user adoption, driving customer satisfaction, and executing technical aspects of our product strategy.
Your proficiency in maintaining a balance between business requirements and technical feasibility will help us align our vision with customer needs and build the best monitoring platform. What you will do:
• Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and Senior Product Managers to enhance the product roadmap by integrating technical perspectives. You will engage with our cross-functional Product Development team to prioritize new features and functionality and define the go-to-market strategy for new releases.
• Take ownership of monitoring requirements, incident management, and mobile app requirements, working in concert with other product managers.
• Play a pivotal role in the product development process. Work closely with the Product Owner and engineering team to define product requirements, design and build new features, and facilitate release processes.
• Leverage your analytical prowess to dissect market trends and customer feedback, using these insights to refine product development decisions.
• Manage the technical requirements of our Mobile applications, ensuring they align seamlessly with our core product capabilities.
• Foster and sustain relationships with key customers, using customer interviews, industry events, and sales team collaborations to explore new business opportunities.
• Develop low-fidelity mockups/wireframes to facilitate in-depth discussions with both internal & external customers.
• Partner with the UI Design Team to create elegant, highly usable designs that will captivate the Uptime.com user community.
• Lead projects from the idea stage to completion, ensuring smooth collaboration with Engineering, Product Marketing, Support, and QA Teams.
Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 DOE

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager at a fast-paced SaaS company, preferably in the observability, monitoring, and incident management space.
• Proficiency in agile development methodologies and writing User Stories in conjunction with the Product Owners.
• Familiarity with SaaS monitoring, observability, and Incident Management systems.
• A firm grasp on building and managing complex software services at scale.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills in a competitive environment.
• The ability to collect, research, and analyze data from various sources (market data, customer services, sales) and translate these into clear business requirements and MVPs.
• Solid technical acumen to engage in detailed discussions with engineers, as well as to explain complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical customers.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to clarify needs, explain features, articulate decisions, and gain alignment to propel projects.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to establish and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships.
• Curiosity, self-awareness, and adaptability to learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong technical background and experience in product management, particularly within the SaaS space. They should have superb communication and leadership skills and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
