We are currently seeking a Technical Product Owner who would have strategic IT responsibility over Eaton’s Product domain and would be a key leader within the Master Data Management (MDM)/Electrical Business Delivery Value Stream within Eaton’s Integration Data Management (IDM) organization-Chief Data Management Office. The candidate can be based out the following Eaton US facilities: Beachwood, OH; Moon Township, PA; Raleigh, NC; Houston, TX; Menomonee Falls, WI.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $116,250 – $160,000 a year.

What you’ll do:
As a Technical Product Owner within Product MDM, you will be responsible for collaborating and partnering with IDM value streams, both across Eaton’s Electrical and Industrial business teams, working closely with senior IT and business leaders to drive Eaton’s next generation strategy for Product MDM. As a Technical Product owner, you will be chartered with managing the development of new technology products and features across the MDM Product domain, managing the product solution backlog to ensure the most critical deliverables/enhancements are actioned to maximize business value and closely partner with our global business teams to drive Eaton’s next generation Product MDM strategy.
The role will require a successful candidate to build strong relationships across global business teams and IT value streams to drive strategy, roadmaps, product execution, business outcomes and ensure product backlog items are prioritized appropriately based on impact. Whether it’s Master Data Management, Integration Services, Analytics, Data Governance, Data Assets or Data Storage Platforms you will be managing internal and external customer relationships/expectations while working across Information and Data service product teams to ensure effective product delivery. In addition, you will be responsible for allocating work to full stack Data Engineers that will deliver product backlog items, providing a unique opportunity for technology product ownership across Value Stream and Business Unit delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Define strategic Product MDM goals and objectives across Eaton’s Electrical and Industrial sectors (ES & IS) aligned to business strategies and business outcomes.
• Key liaison between business and development; translate product stories and deliverables into tasks for development.
• Develop a clear understanding of business priorities, strategies and outcomes across ES and IS and how Product MDM can accelerate time to value toward key reaching those goals.
• Partner and collaborate with global ES and IS business leadership teams to drive Eaton’s next generation Product Data strategy with clearly aligned key performance indicators.
• Develop, design and deploy Eaton’s next Generation Product MDM platforms in partnership with Eaton’s business commercial data organizations to include optimizing/standardizing IT and business roles and responsibilities across the product MDM landscape.
• Leverage Lean Six Sigma principles and agile methodologies to execute product sprints and global initiatives.
• Drive standard work/committees and or councils on how best to prioritize Electrical and Industrial MDM and IDM product backlogs.
• Building ‘sprint’ work packages for platform and full stack data engineering teams for execution.
• Ensure the product backlog is understood and communicated to stakeholders.
• Ensure Information and Data products are delivered via DevOps standards.
• Manage/Provide support services across Information and Data application for designated BU responsibility.
• Support the evolution of high-quality integration products in line with business requirements using an Agile DevOps development methodology.
• Work in partnership with IDM product teams to deliver key updates supporting cloud transition.
• Ensure effective support for BU applications for IDM products.
• Consult with value stream teams on identified priorities across business unit functions.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6 years of data/application management experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at senior levels of an organization and demonstrated experience managing vendors and leading global workshops.
- Experience deploying Syndigo/Riversand, Stibo, InRiver, Informatica
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets across business divisions.
- Experience achieving team KPIs and leading updates to executive leadership.
- Experience influencing leadership and key stakeholders on technology solutions.
- Experience applying knowledge of new processes and concepts in IT management, structure, and organization.
Skills:
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle’s Master Data Management EBS Suite–focused on product and customer domains.
• Drive application modernization and enablement across multiple platforms simultaneously.
• Proficiency driving global change management initiatives.
• Ability to lead a team through diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Identify operational issues and proactively solution to resolve problems
• Familiar with Informatica’s MDM Technology stack–specifically P360 platform and how the syndication module functions and operates.
• Demonstrated understanding of industry best practices across the product Master Data Management landscape along with market technology trends within the product domain, but a firm understanding of the MDM landscape to include but not limited to domains like-syndication, RDM, hierarchy, supplier, customer, contacts, location, hierarchy and syndication.
• Previous experience managing technical workshops to drive MDM data models, business logic, workflows, and global end to end processes.
• Experience facilitating design discussions on how best to build an MDM technical architecture.
• Relationship management experience working across business functions, IT and resources to deliver priority items.
• Experience managing program delivery within a value stream or agile framework.
• Proven experience interacting with a mix of 3rd party and cloud native technologies including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
