Amazon is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Vulnerability Management and Remediation (VMR) team. The VMR team is responsible for the discovery, assessment, triage, and remediation of vulnerabilities across Amazon. We are data-driven, set big goals, and are always challenging ourselves and each other to identify better solutions and take on new challenges. As a Technical Program Manager on the VMR Discovery team, you will be responsible for engineering partnerships that support the timely and accurate detection of vulnerabilities across the complexity and scale of the Amazon ecosystem. Your teammates are a global team of security engineers, software developers, and technical program managers dedicated to continuously raising the security bar.
Key job responsibilities
– Own one or more engineering partner relationships.
– Drive process improvements in our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and implement agile delivery frameworks.
– Raise the bar for service delivery and engineering projects through the creation of mechanisms and roadmaps, partner resource management, and quality and performance reviews.
– Lead projects coordinating engineering partners, VMR Discovery operations and engineering teams, and other technical teams to build new services and continuously improve existing services.
– Periodic on-call responsibilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
– Experience working directly with engineering teams
– Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
– 3 years security experience in system, network, or application security, vulnerability management.
– 1 years experience working in agile engineering environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in projects involving the design and build of large-scale security services.
– Experience with AWS services.
– Experience in vulnerability management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
