Title: Technical Services Specialist
Purpose: The Technical Services Specialist plays an integral part of information technology services. Providing first point of contact, expect to support to end-users and departments on a variety of technology issues. Expect to work closely with the Technology Services Manager on prioritization, issue resolutions and related projects. This role embodies all of Diamond Assets’ Core Values: Teamwork, Flexibility, Service, Integrity, and Innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first contact support for technology and services.
- Execute strategies and methodologies that support the technology needs of the organization
- Follow processes, workflows, and standards for technology, services, implementations, and support offerings
- Provide operational support, direction, guidance, and training to repair personnel
- Report unresolved issues to the Technology Services Manager for escalation and resolution.
Qualifications:
- Technical College degree in information technology, end-user devices, a related field or equivalent experience required
- Ability to support macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Windows users
- Experience supporting end-users regarding productivity software, email, and collaborative systems
- Experience/knowledge with/of MDM & workstation deployments including software configuration and training
- Experience/knowledge in supporting end-users with networking issues
- Experience/knowledge in device repair preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills, able to Identify, research, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
- Documentation of supported systems and application procedures and processes
- Strong organization and task management skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
